Hi, I am Kaodinna Onwumechili. I am a second-generation immigrant; my parents were born in Nigeria and moved to the United States before having me. I’m currently in college, majoring in Social Data Science with a concentration in Psychology. Though I don’t have any academic or creative background in movies, I have always been interested in media arts. More specifically, I love not only consuming but analyzing music, film, and television. There is so much to be learned from these media, and what you learn is influenced by your own perspective.
This website is aimed towards sharing what I learned. I’ve taught myself—with the help of a multitude of resources—how to understand what exactly I am watching. I’ve researched techniques for acting, shooting films, and story-writing. These tools enhance my perspective as a Nigerian-American young adult interested in humanities.
Ultimately, my perspective is unique. If you’re anything like me, though, you’ll enjoy hearing unique voices.
